Elaine and Pat will submit compiled results (with changes) to everyone.

Because Banner will only allow 30 characters for course titles, we agreed on shortened names for that purpose. Elaine will record changes on Common Course Number document that we submit.

How do we name honors and other “special” courses? Naugatuck uses letters to designate computer assisted, Manchester uses H for honors.

We need to check with Phil about how we should designate special courses.

Norwalk should decide on a different name for their 4-credit Intermediate Algebra, since the 3-credit Intermediate Algebra course, taught at the other 11 colleges, already has that name.

How do we designate the Statistics courses? Some use technology, some do not. Many of the colleges teach with different types of technology and different software, some more extensive.  Should we have some way to designate that as well?

It was agreed that we should set up a meeting with UConn to discuss this problem. There is currently some confusion about which statistics courses are transferable. We need clarification.  We realized part of this confusion was from the numerous statistics courses we offer. For this reason, we condensed the number of courses.

The next meeting will be October 17 at 10:00 am at Gateway.
